If you’re one of the people bitching about anthem protests (which tends to be derived from complaining mostly about them doing so during football, bringing something outside of football to it), then why bitch about what an individual does protesting outside of work? You are right, but I realized early on this wasn’t about kneeling for the anthem. People still complained when players locked arms instead of kneeling. It’s not even a military issue really, as there are people who served that have no issue with the kneeling.
From the beginning, this was mostly a political issue with one side of the political spectrum not believing in what the protest was about. The correct point you just made is proof of that. These guys are finding a different way in their personal lives to bring awareness to a cause they believe, which is supposedly what people wanted, yet they are still taking shite for it.
