Really bad optics here. Tough to see one of Our Boys on the wrong side of history so early.

I’m not a big fan of Cam when he’s not wrecking shite on the field.

All I can say is Mason Rudolph didn't appear to do himself any favors if his goal is to avoid getting in heated exchanges. Ole boy definitely did some instigating. No excuses for hitting someone with a helmet but Rudolph certainly could have chilled and avoided the whop altogether.

This narrative a lil far fetched... how bout qb starts brawl, tried to rip off DE’s helmet, whom then gets jumped by OL and swings erratically?

was responding to schefty w/ this tweet and gif of the hit on head

Can’t justify what Myles did but to put the entire blame on Myles... explain normal wrap up normal take down qb loses his mind... continue

I think Cam's point is that Myles isn't 100% to blame for what started it, but he definitely went too far

That being said, put the phone down and lets focus on beating the frick out of Tampa

i agree garrett isn't 100% and both were instigators.

i said in other thread that i kind of want to defend myles to a minor extent but then you take into account his rap sheet and history that dates back to college and it becomes quite difficult to do so especially with a singular event so dangerous.

I'll play devils advocate here...

Did you happen to see Rudolph grabbing and twisting Garretts helmet trying to rip it off on the ground?

Because that definitely happened and Garrett retaliated.

Rudolph 100% started it. Go back and watch replay.

Screen pass, clearly got the ball out, Garrett wrestled him to the ground and slammed him on turf. This NFL throws the flag on that for late hit .. ref kept the flag in his pocket going to break up the squeamish that quickly got out of hand and ended in criminal action ..

Randolph should press charges. Garrett should serve time. His defenders should be ashamed.

It is a little unfair to put ALL the blame on Garrett. Rudolph could have backed off and let his linemen take care of things instead of trying to escalate the situation. Both players deserve to be suspended.

Has it ever happened that a baseball player goes after a pitcher with their bat? I'd like for his agent try.

Risks a qb takes during the course of a game does NOT include having a helmet or bat swung at you by a 275 lb defensive end. Sorry.

I would appreciate Cam showing up for the game Sunday, unlike the Atlanta game.

Garrett should be suspended but the previous poster is correct in that when you watch the video replay, it is clear the QB is attempting to remove Garrett's helmet from the back which is when Garrett went ballistic.

That does not give Garrett a free pass, but it does make the QB share some of the responsibility for what transpired.

I’d agree with you if Garrett simply beat his arse afterwards. His actions were on a completely different level.

Hockey player got charged for attacking another player with a stick during a game. PFT put an article out on it
