I would find it more insulting for a team to kneel than just run their normal offense. I wouldn't be upset at kneeling though.

Lol and you have?
Love how people like to state how they played but don’t have balls to say who they are or where they played? You brought it up so please tell us where you strapped that helmet on? Please go ahead tell us.

If the falcons didn't want them to score then a) they could have ran the clock out themselves b) stop the Saints from scoring.
DA solidified that he's a puss with calling out his own players. No one wants him to be hc before this, certainly didn't help his cause with this

Some are even paid for incentives or use those stats for their next contract.
I can guarantee you there is no incentive in Williams' contract to go from 0 TD's to 1 TD in a season.

This is a professional sport where people are paid.
Yes it is, and part of being professional is respecting your opponent and respecting the game. Part of respecting your opponent is not running a play out of victory formation when said opponent has let its guard down because you are signaling that the game is over.

I get the trick play victory formation point of view.
Said it another thread. DA messed up by not just going with his players. Once they decided to go rogue they had no choice but to line up in the victory formation because Allen would have called timeout. Smith doesn't say anything if a normal play is run and we score.

So what? I mean its the NFL. Who cares? It was a fake knee for a TD. Are you guys really upset because we rubbed it in their faces?? Like seriously who cares. If they don’t like, should have stopped it. The NFL is the only league that thinks you should stop scoring when you’re ahead- its the dumbest thing in the world.
Funny you say that because other teams called out Schiano as bush league for telling his players to blow up victory formations when he was at TB. He was heavily criticized by coaches and players. And then we pull this stunt? It was Total bush league.
If u want to score line up in a goaline look and go for it. Don’t be a sneaky pussy about it.

He would have been upset but he doesn't make a scene like he did today. He would have had the same expression on his face that Mike Smith did when Drew Brees threw the entire final drive in garbage time in 2011 against the Falcons so he could break Marino's record on Monday Night Football. Smith was mad that night but kept his cool for the most part. That's how Arthur Snith would have been if they lined up for a normal play.

But now the Falcons gonna try to beat us next year.
Damn. Can’t have that. Maybe they’ll put it in their bulletin board or make a poster about it so they can try their best

What was done wrong here?
HC making a decision, then his backup QB deciding they were going to fake the formation and score the TD. I have no issue with the TD…I have an issue with players doing what they want even if the game was already decided. If someone twists their knee and that player has to miss a potential playoff game, everyone looks mighty ridiculous. But, this is a bad look. DA should have owned it and said he made the call…now everyone knows without a doubt he lost the team.
