Caleb Downs(S) may be best pick; This win put u out of reach per OSU DE, No WR available

Happy the Saints won…. and there may be another win coming before the season ends.
Implications:
Saints 1st rd draft pick is now sliding toward back-end of the Top 10 where the best defensive player in the draft
(OSU DE/LB) is looong off the board before Saints pick.
Unfortunately, there is not a consensus #1 WR on the board at this point either.
Caleb Downs is a potential All Pro Safety and would benefit the Saints.
He may be the 1st rd pick.
WR and OL would be the next targets in the 2nd and 3rd rds if a players grade matches the Saints slot position.

We have bigger needs than safety in my opinion, but I’d be ok with the pick.

If we’re picking 7-10th then you take the best player in the draft nd that’s Caleb Downs. If you can get a Polamalu/Reed type safety you take him.

I’m in the same boat…..
Many needs before targeting a Safety but this player has AllPro Potential so I would grab him in the Top 10.
I’m hoping Saints don’t slide outside the Top 10 !!!!

The bottom of the league is atrocious this year.
The only way to guarantee a top 3 pick would be to forfeit the rest of the games.
