Wiki is a great source of finding info, and you can check the legitimacy of the info almost immediately using...Their sources

You cannot actually change anything in Wikipedia…
…It's only possible to 'add' to it, not change it. Wikipedia is a database with a memory designed to last as long as we can make it last. An article you read today is just the current draft; every time it is changed, we keep both the new version and a copy of the old version. This allows us to compare different versions or restore older ones as needed. As a reader, you can even cite the specific copy of an article you are looking at. Just link to the article using the "Permanent link" at the bottom of the left menu, and your link will point to a page whose contents will never change. However, if an article is deleted, your permanent link will only work for administrators.
It's a good tool

Cooks+2nd+4th for Butler+1st+3rd

So, what does that mean?? lol They get robbed twice?? Give us back our picks and one of yours and we'll give you Butler. lol They stupid as hell if they do that, of course I'm joking, but you never know with the Saints. I would just move on from Butler and use those picks in the draft.

If you get Butler for a 2nd or a 3rd, you take it and run. The Saints would have a top 10 corner, 2 first rounders, and either a 2nd and 3rd, or 2 3rds. I know it's still not a sure thing this deal gets done, but there is too much smoke right now. I'd bet a good bit that Butler is a Saint and that it costs them less than a first for him.

Exactly. Butler is a very good player. You can't just move on and expect loomis to find the next Butler in the draft

I think part of any deal is, butler would have to agree to sign a 5 yr extension deal with the new team that is not at an insane salary level.
if we give up a 2nd or 3rd for a player it has to be a player locked up for 5 more years, that is the key to making a deal like that, or we take our chances drafting a CB with that pick.
it cant be just a 2 or 3 yr deal and it surely cant be a "play out his this year contract and wait until next year and then start to negotiate" situation.
it doesn't really matter because the pats aren't letting him go for just a 2nd, they aren't dumb like the saints are. im sure they will insist on 1st round pick from any team that wants him or don't bother calling. if not that then at least 2 "high" picks for him like both the 2nd and 3rd round picks from a team if a 1st rnd pick isn't part of the deal.
who knows, maybe they would consider a deal for our 2nd and we give them back their #32 pick as well?

True but the mods will catch it and change it back with a few hours if not in a few minutes. I tried editing Galette's page after he behaved like an idoit and but it got changed back with 1 minute.

if they are reported, but if no one reports the info is bad, then it stays there until someone does report it.
"most" things there are accurate and they try to keep it that way but leaving editing open to the entire internet means you cant rely on it being accurate, all you can do is reference it as something that "might" be true

I wouldnt mind that at all
I viewed a swap of cooks for butler straight up as a good break even deal for both teams, so if that's all it took, it would put us in a better position then we stand today.
butler is a proven commodity and a shut down corner is what we need so I say bring it on.
but they can get at least a 1st from any other team out there desperate for a CB so I think the pats deal with us they will want at least that #32 plus another pick like maybe a 6th or 7th rounder from us, if we give them back the last pick I think they would see it as almost not being a 1st round pick value and want a little extra to sweeten the deal

Hello, my background is in biology, with a main interest in snakes.
I speak English and French. In my off-time, I listen to a lot of music, and I have discovered that Wikipedia is a very good source for information in that department. Hopefully I can help make it even better.

I saw that and he's been reliable in the past. Butler sure has been quiet for a RFA. As high as PFF ranks him, you think someone would be offering him Josh Norman money by now. Granted you'd have to give NE a 1st but I haven't heard anything about him outside the trade rumors. That alone makes me tend to believe it.
Cooks had to come off our books because that bonus would've been dead money had we traded him later.
