Man, go to hell. Bush has done nothing but work his butt off to be the best he could be for the Saints. Yes, he hasn't lived up to the expectations everyone had for him. But there is no reason to have people continue to bash him. I could see the hatred if he were a loud mouth, arrogant player or a lazy bum, but Bush has been none of these things. You just need to get out of here and stop bashing Saints players, especially with the kind of year they are having.

I'll repeat this little anecdote that happened recently. I brought my nephew to one of the training camp practices, bought him a Saints cap and after practice we went over to get autographs on it. He approached Drew Brees got his autograph wished him a great season and asked him if he thought Reggie was gonna have a great season. Drew said nobody had worked any harder than Reggie during the offseason and Reggie was gonna be just fine. My nephew then made his way over to Reggie,when it was his turn stuck his cap out and told Reggie what Brees had said. A big smile broke out on Reggies' face and he told my nephew that statement meant more to him than any award he could ever receive you just made my day son.... Some people are positive motivators and some people are negative destroyers. It's obvious Reggie is struggling, but I have not heard him once put the blame on the coaches, other players, the organization or anybody else but himself. The true measure of a persons character isn't necessarily in their accomplishments but in their perseverance and struggle to reach their goal. You may have given up on Reggie but the Saints haven't and most importantly Reggie hasn't given up on Reggie. Saint Slidell, best wishes on a successful and happy life.

I really do believe now that people who bash Reggie have some sort of insecurity...they are looking for an outlet to raise their self esteem and by criticizing Reggie Bush they're able to temporarily feel superior to a recognized athlete. Can't we just enjoy this wonderful season without having any sort of unwarranted negativity towards a player. Last I checked, Reggie Bush is a New Orleans Saint and wears the fleur-de-lis proudly just like every other Saint.
