Hendrickson and Bell were on that legendary 2018 Saints team that got robbed of a trip to the Super Bowl so you know they'll want revenge. Burrow grew up idolizing Drew Brees so he'll want to avenge his idol being robbed of a well-deserved storybook ending to his career. Chase was born and raised in Jefferson Parish and was most likely a huge Saints fan growing up as well.

A chance to win the Super Bowl will probably be sufficient motivation.

Burrow doesn't give 2 shits about Louisiana, let alone the saints or New Orleans. He lived in baton rouge for 2 years bc it was free and it helped him better himself as opposed to staying in his home state at Ohio St. Does he do charity work here or donate fields? No. That's what he did in Ohio where he is from

Stop it! Stop it! Joe does give a shite about Louisiana and he will prove it everytime he flys over La. and emptys the bilge tank from his private jet.

I’m big time going for the bengals but the obnoxious Burrow worship and bengals over posting has me damn near ready to root for the rams

No, you are legitimately weird if you don’t support the Bengals right now. They are America’s team and they have a lot of ties to Louisiana. Hell, their franchise is even reminiscent of the Saints before they won the Super Bowl.

I honestly don’t give a shat about either one of these teams nor do I believe these are the best two teams in the NFL. But if I have to pick I’m going for Stafford. Great QB that lived most of his career in Lions hell. It’s his turn

This is and always will break down as to which matters more to the average Louisianan.

Saints fans might not like being second fiddle to LSU, but it is what is.

College football means more in the south.

Considering Burrows legendary run here, until the Saints become relevant again strap in. You’ll be hearing it for awhile.

The difference between Burrow and Stafford is Burrow got drafted to a hell hole and took them to the Super Bowl in year 2. Stafford was not able to elevate the Lions for a decade and then went running to the Rams to team up with a win now team.

No comparison between the 2. Stafford is likable enough, but if you like him over Burrow, that’s borderline deviant imho.

Is it really Bandwagoning to support a player you love? I started rooting for the Bengals the second they drafted Joe. I think the definition of bandwagoning would be just starting to support them now.

I prefer to pull for Humans over organizations.

Joe Burrow is an elite human. If you didn’t fall in love with him as a player and a person at LSU to the point where you don’t want to root for him on the Bengals (not a saints rival), I don’t know what to say. We just view football and life differently. I will also say it’s very hard to root for a QB and not root for their team to win since their legacy is largely defined by winning. Joe Burrow is just a different cat. He transcends enemy lines for me.

Also, like I said before, pulling for the Bengals feels like pulling for the Saints pre 2006. It’s a familiar feeling. I enjoy rooting for underdogs, especially if they are being led by an elite human and incredibly easy person to root for unless perhaps you are a Ravens or Bama fan.
