Bucs Star Has 2-Word Reaction To Mike Evans Suspension News

For his actions in a brawl between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints, Mike Evans has been handed a one-game suspension for the NFL.
Given what Evans did, the suspension wasn't much of a surprise, and some fans might be upset that it wasn't a longer ban. But Evans' teammates don't see it that way.
Taking to Twitter, Bucs running back Leonard Fournette had just two words for the NFL. He wrote "FREE MIKE" in all caps.
Fournette's message is quickly going viral with over 1,000 likes in just a few minutes. Bucs fans are quickly rallying behind his message in calling the NFL out for what they consider an unfair punishment.
"A fine would have been sufficient. This league is backwards AF," one user wrote.
"Nfl is a joke. Has officially become softer than soccer," wrote another.
"Bunch of BS that no Saints player got suspended too!!" a third user replied.
Fortunately for the Buccaneers, the loss of Mike Evans didn't wind up having an impact on the final outcome. The Bucs won the game thanks to a 17-point showing in the fourth quarter to seal a 20-10 win over the rival New Orleans Saints.
It was the first win for the Bucs over the Saints in the regular season in several years.
As for Leonard Fournette's message, he'll get his wish to see Mike Evans "free" in about a week.
Seems to me that for Evans blindsiding Lattimore a second time proves that he is a coward that should have received a multi-game suspension and the Saints should push the issue.
Fournette should have been suspended for initiating contact with Lattimore.

I honestly think just Evans getting suspended and it only being one game is soft by the league. Arians clearly tells him go get em Mike before Evans takes the shot. He's a multiple times offender. Gage also appears to throw punches in the scuffle as well. If the league was out to get the Bucs Gage would have a game, Arians would be banned from the sidelines, and Evans would have 2-4 games.

I for one am appalled and triggered that Buga would stick up for his team mate. I mean can you believe this frickin guy actually going on social media and saying 2 entire words to support his friend and teammate?

The fact that evans wasn’t suspended for multiple games absolutely blows my mind
The incident by itself warranted multiple games.. the fact that he’s already done it before, coupled with the fact that this situation has nothing to do with him makes it worse

I’m kinda pissed that the Saints have allowed the Bucs to control the narrative on this, and now the national media is just running with the Bucs side of the story.
All I’m seeing is talk about a fight between Evans and Lattimore and Evans was protecting his qb. There is video evidence of what happened. There was no fight between those guys. Lattimore had two different Bucs players get physical with him, including Evans blind side cheap shot for the second time.
One guy on The Ringer fantasy football show said he loved this and Evans was defending Brady cause Lattimore put his hands on Brady. This never happened. Shut that off and unfollowed that show.
Another Ringer guy acted like Lattimore and Evans played an equal part in this constant fighting. Wtf? Latt keeps being on the receiving end of cheap shots. How is that fighting with both equally to blame? And why would anyone act like those Evans cheap shots are cool?
Between the refs screw job and gullible media just repeating what Bucs players said, even though we all saw what happened, I’m pretty much in frick all these people mode.

Fournette started the whole thing. Unfortunately, he forgot that Lattimore lives in Big Mike's head. The cheap shot should not have been a surprise to anyone...not his first rodeo. Lenny should at least pay the bail on this.
