Are they trying to not attract a decent coach? That's worse that dictating that the coach has to keep the previous coordinators.

Wow, Hue would be a homerun hire...for non-Bucs fans.
And it would help with re-upping minority HC hire numbers due to all the minority fires this year, of which Hue was a part of and would be a part of again in 2-3 years.

He doesn't have a job. It's not like they're locked into Jameis for the next decade. If anything he'd be an easy fall guy for a new coach who can then buy more time after bringing in a new QB.

Not really. It’s not like Jameis is without talent. He had a few damn good and even efficient games when he went back in later this season after the benching.
Arians or whoever would basically get a free year to see if you can turn him into what you want ( he’s still only like 24 years old) and cut him without consequence if you can’t amd start with a new guy next year.
