I would quote the article, but it’s only a few paragraphs and it basically just says what’s in the title. Just thought I’d share because that’s very high praise for our guy, Alvin.

That is high praise but I can't compare him to Marshall. He was a much better runner between the tackles. Most other things like route running and catching are pretty high.

Kamara is great between the tackles.

Right? He makes it seem as if it is a rookie Reggie bush in the backfield now. If there is a seam and it doesn't have to be big Kamara is going to explode through it.

Its the reason I said you pay him whatever he wants.

Talk to me about value all day. I dont care. Kamara is so good its almost impossible to put a value on him. He is the most valuable back in the league and a top 5 player in the NFL.

Its clear as day.

I’d love to see Kamara’s stats with Faulk type workload for a season. He gets the catches, but not the carries.

Faulk had 4 seasons of 2k+ yards from scrimmage, including a best of 2,429 yards.

Kamara’s best season to date is 1,592

Why are you bringing up career statistics? No one is talking about who has had the better career. We are talking about who is scarier to game plan for and actual play in the game. If Kamala got those carries Faulk did he’d have the same or better stats

If Kamala put up those stats, she'd be the goat.

Her knees have calluses so they will put up a long career.

AK has never had 200 carries in a season. Faulk had at least 250 carries every year he went over 2k. Including a season he had over 300 carries.

Then they should feed him the ball more, I think he can handle a heavier load, but I don't agree with Arians anyways. Also, Faulk played with "the greatest show on turf" - Lol. Where Warner threw the ball down the field a helluva a lot more than Brees with the WR's that they had, so, Warner didn't use Faulk as much as Brees throws to AK.

Faulk had over 100 targets at least 80 receptions every year he went over 2k.

Okay, so he did catch a lot of passes to that put him well over 2000 yards for a good bit of seasons. So, your point is that Kamara needs more carries?

I was just pointing out that total yardage is not a fair comparison on the surface. CSP doesn't use Kamara the same way Faulk was used.

No, he does not, you are right about that. He uses Kamara to catch more passes than run imo even though I think Kamara could handle a heavier load and be a 1,000 rusher consistently for a minute. Payton likes to get Kamara into mismatches with LB's and get him the ball out in the open.
