Broncos Saints in agreement about compensation for Payton

1st and Wilson. I feel like this season was a fluke for RW. Terrible coaching ruined him. We need a QB and I’ll take him.

Whatever it is it won’t be enough. Payton is leaving for 40 cents on the dollar wherever he goes.

Did you watch any of Wilson this season or last season? He is washed up and on a terrible contract. I’m very surprised that Payton is interested in Denver, just because of how bad Wilson is now.

You can not include active players in trades for coaches.

Broncos don't have a 2nd round pick this year. The 1st round pick this year is the 49ers pick.

While true, we also witnessed one of the worst coachong jobs seen in a long time. That roster is not horrible. I dont know, Sean was able to get wins out of Jameis, Taysom, and Teddy. He'll be alright with Russ

I would say you can maybe pull off a side deal with the understanding its part of the Payton trade.
But i would imagine the league would put a stop to it because they are assholes.

Wilson's dead cap is $107m for 2023. He's really and truly untradeable. Broncos wouldn't even be able to field a team next year with that much dead cap. That's not even getting into if it's a good idea or not for football reasons.

Saints were 9-8 with Payton playing those guys, Allen is 7-9 right now possibly can get another w tomorrow. So the record isn’t that different.
