yah so uh... what's going on with this? Are they waiting for the entire season to end before they get back into this? Is there a sense of what the end game is? Do we have an idea of the timeline? Or is it going on right now under the radar and one day soon they'll just make an announcement that he's signed?

To answer the question "when will this get done?" he said on Jim Rome's show two days ago that he expects it to be done in the next 3-4 weeks. These things take time guys, so no need to worry

I'm not the least bit worried about losing Brees. I have zero doubts that he'll end his career here. But the sooner he signs the better in terms of our ability to keep this team together (ie Nicks and Colston) for a run at the Super Bowl in our house.

I'm not worried about losing him either... well not much. Until I see the "IT'S DONE" thread on this board, there's always going to be a little tiny nugget of concern in the back of my mind.

Free agency doesn't start until March 13th so we have plenty of time to get all three deals done yall calm down.
