Didn't Brees just played a perfect game on Monday night against the Colts when he was going after the TD record? His game to be the all-time passing yards leader, he was also light out against the redskins last year. Its funny when there is a record for him to break, he is dialed in on that game, but plays like crap during playoffs.

He actually plays quite well in most playoff games

I disagree and your OP is pure speculation.

I don't know why the Payton-Brees Era of the Saints will never have a winning record in the playoffs. I am not sure why Drew Brees's playoff record is a perfectly mediocre 8-8. All I know is that both are true.

This team can't win in the playoffs and neither can Drew Brees. The W/L record speaks for itself and that's the only record that counts in my book. This team is no good in the playoffs and neither is Drew Brees.

0 points in the first half against Minny in 2017, and multiple turnovers last year’s NFCCG and today

He definitely is 100% motivated by his records and salary.

There’s no question in my mind this is true. He just doesn’t care as much about winning as he does personal accolades. He knew he probably wouldn’t make the Hall of Fame without a Super Bowl win so he got one. Since then, he has sucked in the playoffs.

Hes been outplayed by Alex Smith, Kase Keenum, Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins

Well you have to look at his playoff career as a whole, not just 3 games. Also, its not talked about alot, but he was playing hurt in the playoffs last year

Is that why he short armed that 5 yard slant to Thomas which would have sealed the game in regulation?

Played like crap in the first half of the 2011 team’s playoff loss vs 49er’s too.

You just trying to be dumb? Of all those, only the latter two can you say outplayed him. Brees was awesome against alex smiths defense and pretty damn good against keenums defense. Keenum and smith had it easy in comparison

Unfortunately this is what keeps him going imo. He is very drew oriented. If we could have him done what brady did in structuring of contracts early in his career would have multiple super bowls. But buying diamonds as an investment is a tricky game. Jimmy johns and walkons arebt going to pay the bills in san diego when he retires.
.

Dont get me wrong Im sure he likes new orleans but as soon as his last game as a saint is done he's on the 1st plane to San Diego for good

So the people that think this.

Do you think Drew's former/current teammates who say he is one of the most competitive players theyve ever played with are lying? Do you think Strief was lying when he said his biggest fear as a Saints player was letting Drew down because he knew how much Drew wanted to win?

So you admit he was outplayed by Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins in the Superdome? Because that's what my main point was.

You're trying to reason with women. Everybody ignores the playoff games and big games during the season he plays well in, some of those we lost and some we won. Most of us know what Brees means to this franchise. Yes, he definitely shite the bed today, big time, along with many others.
