Brees is a natural color commentator

Watching the Notre Dame-Purdue game on NBC. First time I’ve had to hear Brees.
Dude is a natural. Very insightful offensive/defensive analysis, with absolutely no nervousness/awkwardness (like former Saint Strief started with).
Him and Tirico make a great pair. They need to do NFL games. Hopefully that’s the long term plan. After only one half of listening, I’d already take them over Michaels and Collinsworth.

Having all the relationships with coaches/players and having decades of NFL experience at every level from preseason to Super Bowls, Brees’ insight/commentary for NFL games would be must see tv.

Id like to see a Brees/Romo broadcast for an NFL game. Although I think Romo is CBS so that wouldn’t happen.
