Doubtful. He's very knowledgable in many sports.

I do know this- do the tiniest bit of research on him and you'll find about 30 articles noting his drunken behavior in the press box, his complete lack of professionalism, and his alcohol-fueled embarrassing outbursts. It's funny shite when it's your buddy sitting around the living room football party, not great when the dude is repping your team to the national media.

Hey, so can about 10,000 other people in N.O., and they can do it without needing to be checked into AA.

WWL is who I was referring to as far as his cost.

His job is talk sports and entertain. He does that well. I could care less about what the national media thinks of him. He's a local radio guy. I don't want to listen to some boring drone in a monotone voice.

Eh, different strokes for different folks, I guess. I suppose he's just not my cup of tea. I've never found him amusing or entertaining. Kinda sad, actually.

Go play in a busy street grandpa. What is with this do a little research. Everyone in America saw the pressbox celebration he put on and 99% of people liked it. His sports director and station manager were interviewed later and they said they got no complaints at all.

You act like he is a criminal thug and we should look up his arrest reports with your "do your research" crap. Why don't you research anal rententive and see if your name and face comes up.

Its good to see someone acting outside the "PERCEIVED NORM"... The reality of it all is society expects us to be buttoned up, and tight, and Bobby is an outlet to that. You get what you get with him, and some of us find it entertaining, and uplifting, others such as yourself, seem to belong @ a ballet rather than a football game. Let your hair down, and dont worry about what the FRICK everyone else thinks. He's ours, and he's a good guy. He's honest, and wears his emotions on his sleeve. His levity is welcomed in this "BALLET" world.

Long live the Cajun Cannon !!!

Never said he was a criminal thug. Not sure where you drew this conclusion. I stated "do your research" to see what the rest of the civilized world thinks of him.

Hmmm, so if I don't find a drunken, blathering idiot flipping people off from the press box, stumbling over words, and acting like a 12 year old retard funny, then I must be anal retentive, huh?

Getting shite-faced in public and acting like a douche is accepted when your 22, but when you're in your 40s, it's just creepy.

Hey assmucher, he is on the radio 6 days a week and usually does not drink. He might get buzzed every now and then after a Saints game, but it is rare. His personality for being crazy and telling it like it is makes people think he is drinking more than he really is most of the time.

He knows what he speaks of and people from here(and real Saints fans) generally think the guy is ok. He is no Stephen A Smith or anything great like that, but I will take him.

Can we do this without the "assmuncher", "grandpa", etc? Is it possible for us to disagree without this- this is making you look like you're 18 (which if you are, God help me to understand why I'm arguing with an 18 year old about anything).

So you're sort of backdoor stating that "real" Saints have to like Hebert?

Also, please God tell me you were joking about Stephen A. Smith. Dude is a racist hatemonger. Maybe this is something we CAN agree on.

A very old and stodgy 34. Hebert is hilarious. Yes he's a joke. So is most of WWL's on air personalities. But guess what? Entercom makes money with the station.

By the way, he really wasn't drunk Saturday night.

This is true. I watch the Weather Channel, drive a Honda Accord, and work for the fed gov. I'm usually in bed by 9 pm and cut my grass every Saturday.

Still, I just don't find him funny. And since I live in Spokane now, I've been emailed clips of his pressbox antics by my co-workers who ask, "Is this how you cornbread rednecks act in the South?" I really didn't care for him before I left Louisiana, now I really don't.

If you're serious, it must really suck to be you. I apologize for giving you any shite whatsoever.

By the way, I'm older, obviously brighter and far cooler than you can ever hope to be. Let me tell you a story. I used to live in California, and worked all over that fair state and traveled up and down the West Coast. When I first arrived, I was a bit sheepish about being from the South. But soon I learned that although the people seemed to be better spoken than a lot of southerners, they really weren't particularly bright and they certainly weren't aware of what was happening in the rest of the world. Then I remembered my Steinbeck. The West Coast is full of fricking Okies.

The moral of the story? Hebert may be a dunce, but he's a funny dunce. And frick your co-workers.

Hey, I love my job. Because of the wildness of my day to day, I lead a pretty boring life outside work.

I'm proud to be a southerner, but don't hate bobby because I'm embarrassed of being from south la.

And you're right lol- frick my coworkers. Were a pretty tight unit, which is probably why we fight like brothers.

just my .02, but...

if you want to talk about the Saints, there are plenty, PLENTY of Saints fans to talk to. You don't have to talk or listen to Bobby Hebert to talk about the Saints. That's the great thing about having some free will.
