Honestly...this is the same Drew Brees we always see. He still has the arm strength to be elite and he's still smart. When our oline blocks and our WR's catch the ball...he's elite. It's hard for a short guy with a medium build to be elite when his oline doesn't protect him. He can't see over people like Manning and Brady

True. And that was when his o-line was playing like garbage. Since they cleaned that up Brady has looked like the same old Brady. Seems pretty darn similar to our situation.

If you listen to Simmons for his opinions, you are listening for the wrong reasons. I've been reading and listening to the guy since he started at ESPN, and I'm pretty sure he's in the middle of a midlife crisis. Only interesting thing about his podcasts are hearing the actual smart people shoot down all the ridiculous things he says.

That's him. The funny thing is, he isn't even really knowledgeable about basketball. He's more of a historian who remembers a lot of stuff from the past. His conversations with Zach Lowe are basically Zach doing everything in his power to not call Simmons an idiot.

The guy started a website that seemed like it would be cool, but ended up just hiring a bunch of young hipsters who have conversations that are in no way representative of how most people converse about this stuff. He started hanging out with Jalen Rose, who is one of the most annoying people on the planet, to make himself look cool.
Their best song of the 2000's competition was a disaster, because again, it was done by hipsters who don't represent the average person.

you could argue that falling down 14-0 also cramped the Saints style.
They usually are at the their best under Payton when they get off to a fast start.
