I think it's all around the same area.

Don't know Kenner well at all.

I grew up in Metairie.

Gum isn't where he lived before though, could be something he bought for a relative

Hayes is either an excellent marksman or was extremely close in proximity to the Smith's to have 10 shots find their mark

They were extremely close. The way the vehicles were and shite it was essentially a 5x15 hallway with at least 4-5 people in it. You can see the bullet casings on the ground right near wills feet in some of the photos.

Are you referring to this picture?

If so, I don't see any casings on the ground

I can see them. And if you look thru the crime scene photos you will see the evidence markers noting the casings in a couple of the other photos.

Gotcha, I see what appears to be small objects on the ground but they don't look like brass to me. I haven't seen the other photo, or at least don't recall it, showing the evidence markers

I cant tell specifically that it is casings but it seems that they would be as they mark them as evidence, they are about the size of a bullet casing, there are at least 5 of them right there, and they are gone once they move the vehicles.

The "damage" to the back of that Hummer in the picture does not appear too compelling a justification for the escalation and violent culmination of the event.

Well it looks like the wheel case had already been removed

And I haven't seen 1 person say that Hayes should have followed. That doesn't mean that you can prove he intentionally rammed Smith

That doesn't mean he's legally guilty of murder.

Of course it doesn't. I really doubt he was ready to murder someone from the H&R. It was the confrontation after the second collision that cause the issue

Yes, the confrontation after he chased down the other car and crushed the back of it.

If he gets charged with battery, doesn't that make him guilty by your logic

Hell, isn't he already guilty of murder based on your Will Smith logic?

seemed kinda tight lipped about the whole situation... they are handling this case very carefully because they don't want the defense to cry foul and want a mistrial. sounded like he was leaning towards saying that he feels like Hayes will have he book thrown at him, but i couldn't get that much out of him...

i suspect there will be some interesting details surfacing soon (The shooter's lawyer's statements and the known evidence don't exactly match up FWIW)

I know this is nothing earth shattering, and i'm not claiming to have any inside info, just relaying what i was told
