There are three possible arguments
I know Hayes is guilty.
I'm not certain, need more facts
I know Hayes is innocent
I have seen a lot of 1, some of 2, and none of 3

I am all about good, rational debate, however this topic has been festering with trolls and dumbasses and it's making that hard to achieve.
The basic 10 page Will Smith thread on ST:

Kind of hard to make much of a case for 3. So this is actually is very telling of some of the actual facts, that aren't even up for debate. That's still just a ridiculous amount of shots fired, especially into a back.
Also, Lester seems to be actively rooting for Hayes' innocence. So there's that. It's one thing to play devil's advocate, it's another to be completely contradicting and ignorant.
