What confirmed piece of evidence suggests that Hayes acted in self defense?
It's been 3 days. That's the point
Bobby Hebert will not pull your Who Dat Nation fan card if you just sit back and just let the evidence present itself in a court of law.

Between both lawyers... this now sounds like an episode of dateline.

The gun wasn't in Wills hand he never made it.

It's so open and shut that we've had two press conferences on it in a matter of 6 hours. Great analysis.

How many years should Hayes go to prison for?

I'm not sure what grates you so much about what I'm saying. Some folks are cooking up preposterous scenarios to explain away Hayes's behavior, why aren't you scolding them?

What are these crazy scenarios?

Who has come up with preposterous situations?

And some folks would have Hayes in the electric chair yesterday.

0 years.
We don't need to throw taxpayer money down the drain feeding this animal.
Give him the firing squad. About 3 bucks worth of ammunition is all the resources that should be spent for his execution

Police already said gun in Wills truck never fired open and shut.

I personally haven't seen a crazy scenario for Hayes
There seems to be two arguments in here:
Hayes is guilty lock him up now there is no chance he isn't guilt
And
It is possible it was self defense. Let's let more come out
Apparently being # 2 makes you a crazy nut to Vacherie

So, by definitition, it is disputed

I'd normally refer you to the search function and tell you to piss off, but I will play.
First, there was the Ceravolo conspiracy, which was debunked by Fuller straight away.
Then we had the "Smith stalked Hayes prior to rear endeding him" (the was Lester Earl on Monday based on the distance between cars closing from the first security camera footage to the last).
Yesterday, it was suggested that Smith had the gun, but dropped it on the floor and crime scene detectives simply didn't see it- explaining away its discovery via search warrant. Credit to gmrkr5 for that gem.
Today, it has been suggested that an officer of the law took Smith's brandished weapon and hid it to protect Smith. This one is the brain child of Zach Lee To Amp Hill.
But I'm being irrational.
