Well considering that after Brady left, the Patriots weren't the same

I'm not worried.

Sometimes hiring an old washed coach doesn’t work. Saints failed with Ditka and Hank Stram.

Doesnt piss me off.

I really dont understand the move. They are not ready to win it all the next year. Bill coaches for a couple seasons and they are back to looking for another coach when he retires

Bill there doesn't make sense to me

Bill has won with steady QB play before...he doesn't need the GOAT persay. Pats werent championship level but competitive with Cassell and Bledsoe at the tail end of his prime.

He does at least need a defense with some pieces and some talent on offense

Bill in Dallas for example could work. Lots of playmakers on both sides and a QB that just needs to be reigned in a bit, but put in positions to succeed. Dak is very close to Hurts in terms of talent and Dallas is very comparable to Philly in talent maybe better when fully healthy

Bill in Atlanta would just be him wasting his last few years.

I don’t see him in Atlanta. They need offensive coach. Totally see Bill in Dallas

Although they are a coach and QB from ruling the south. Lots of talent

I’m surprised bill is even looking to take a job like that.

I’d either be looking to go somewhere with an established QB or to a TV network. CBS, FOX, etc would let him name his price.

Falcons are the polar opposite of what he is used to. Good offensive skill players, crappy D, terrible QB. Belichick is not the same guy he was 5 years ago. I ain't worried about him.

Belicheck is 16 wins away from the all time NFL record. He’s desperate to get that number any way possible. Saints fans should welcome the possibility of him going to Atlanta; he’ll be an angry old caretaker and only add another chapter to the clown circus that has been the Atlanta Falcons Football Club.

He wants to pass Shula and will take any opportunity to pad his stats.

Catching AIDs sounds more fun than listening to Belichick talk football.

I hope Atlanta or Caroline hire Belichek and over pay for him. He is not that great of a coach without Brady so no worry here.

Hank Stram was building a solid team. You built through the draft back then, and it took some time to get a team turned around.

Falcons HR: So, Bill, can you give a specific example from your last job of turning seemingly insurmountable obstacles into a positive?

Belichick: Well, there was this one time we trailed 28-3 in the Super Bowl …
