I think everyone in that building expected to lose bigly this year.

I don't think that was true. Just look at the moves they made.

I honestly think loomis thought they would be competitive and win at least 6 or 7 games(in his mind)

I've been onto his bad playcalling from the jump

I haven't been that impressed with his playcalling but he is somewhat hamstrung.

He should start getting heat next yr after another draft and off-season. I'd like to see what he does in free agency and the draft.

I out brandin cooks on him. The vele trade was him and loomis. Horrible moves.

For me, not until year 3.

This year is a total grace period. I don’t expect much winning next year, but would like to see some signs of turning the corner next year, namely more coherent offensive line play, improved running game, better special teams.

And if the saints take Mendoza or another top qb, how that relationship goes will largely determine the heat level.

Welcome to the party Bunchie. About 3 months late, but you now see the light.

Kellen Moore is a bad draft evaluator, a bad motivational coach, a bad disciplinary coach, and a bad X & O's coach.

He should be fired after year 1. We never wanted him. He was just the only guy to say Yes. We shouldn't remain prisoner to that.

We will have a top 3 pick in next year's draft. A real coaching candidate with a pulse will be intrigued by that. Kellen Moore simply has not earned the right to hand pick a franchise guy at number 1.

We are incompetent, uncompetitive and embarrassing with him at the wheel. He's another Dennis Allen, at best. And tbh, he's probably a bit worse. Dennis Allen technically humiliated him 2 weeks ago.

Nothing last forever.

I know most would like to see him thrown out on his arse in embarrassment for what he's done to the team, but the likely scenario will be that he and the team will come to a mutual agreement of sorts that save face and give some semblance of respect to the good things he's done for the team. (In the far distant past)

I think he gets a pass for this year.

I haven’t seen any creative moves or playcalling to help them either.

You kinda don't wanna show all your cards for what's essentially a preseason year.

If they finish with the 1 or 2 pick they’ll absolutely take either Mendoza or Simpson. The smart thing to do would be then to just spend FA and the rest of the draft on offense. You HAVE to figure that out especially since Moore is an offensive guy. The offense HAS to be better and show improvement next year.

Mendoza/Simpson, 2nd round WR, third round OG. FA pick up a RB from a talented RB free agent class and see what happens.

Moore might not be HC material but he can call plays and knows offense. He’s been a part of good offenses everywhere he’s been as OC. So it should be telling that the offense is so bad.

Could also be that he’s just a Josh McDaniels type. But we won’t know until another year and seeing a little improvement in the talent level on offense
