Sanders will absolutely be a franchise QB for a team. It probably shouldn't be the saints because we need to be rebuilding and stockpiling picks for a season or two before we make a move on a QB at the top of the draft.
You can't mis-time the QB pick because that rookie deal is one of the keys. It can't be before the rebuild is mostly in place.

Also kinda kills the benefits when you have to retain the somewhat expensive vet.

Don't get blinded by the sanders name/hate. Dude is legit. High IQ, can read a defense, goes through progressions, and can spin it with amazing accuracy.
He's top 10 in passing yards, passing TDs, and top 5 in completion percentage. And he's behind one of the worst offensive lines in football (2nd worst in NCAA in sacks per game).

While I realize that he is young he threw his offensive line under the bus on his podcast. He might be talented but he will be a headcase when things don't go his way.
