Don't be a fricking idiot. We have 2 guys who will currently be under contract after this year. You really trust Arrington? Excellent pick and value. To think a 4th corner or some extra OLB will have more of an impact on this team is just idiotic.

I agree with the pick. Just don't sell Moore short. As much of a go to guy for Brees as Colston and Graham. Just needs to stay healthy.

This... A lot of people don't realize how important Lance is to the offense when healthy.

Another guy who thinks he's better at evaluating college football talent than guys who are paid to do it full time.

I figure with all the strikes against us this year, as long as we didn't draft Ruprecht the Monkey Boy, this draft is a #Win.

Tell that to my other favorite NFL team... the Rams. They have been trying to get WRs since Holt left. Ya... how's that working out for them?

I like it. Another big body WR a la Colston and Arrington. Plus Henderson, though our speed merchant, is a former RB.
What this means is many more 6-10 minute drives with controlled short passing game and running game, keeping the defense off the field....

Most WR's will flourish in this offense. Just sigh a FA and plug him in. We needed defense period.

Sounds like every draft every year for the Saints, or any other NFL team that drafts someone that year. Bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch.

fify....

get over it.... people with differing opinions will disagree with a subjective process such as the draft.... it happens in every fan base... the saints and their fans are not exempt from this.... don't want to see people bitch about the draft picks, then don't come here THE DAY OF THE DRAFT....

not everyone is going to be blindly excited about the selections, especially when we still have needs to address..... think the Jaguars fans are happy with their draft? how about the Falcons fans? the draft is always scrutinized/broken down by analysts and fans and there are times we may agree and times we don't..... it's life...

This just goes to show how ignorant you really are. We bring receivers in that fit into our offensive system. If you look at video to Nick Toon, he runs smooth routes, has excellent body control and good hands, great leaping ability, and adjust well to the ball in the air. Now, does that sound like anyone else on our team?

b b b b but Drew Brees is so good he could make a slow obese midget with no hands a great receiver right? No one on our receiving core is talented. Its just Drew.

Total and complete seriousness aside - I'm happy with the draft. Coupled with our FA signings, next season is gonna be awesome. Haters gonna hate, but the loyal fans of the team who know a thing or two about football know that next season has the potential to be one of the most amazing.

I'm sure there were a lot of people on here six years ago saying "We drafted a player from Hofstra?"

the track record of the FO has done nothing to make me question their thoughts on picks. if they percieve value on a pick, I trust them to get guys that fit the team's philosophies and schemes.

I trust the FO, and honestly so should eveyone else - untill they give us reason not to.

I hope we see Joe Morgan this season to run the deep routes. The guy is fast and I liked what I saw in preseason last year. His route running was a little sloppy, but that can be taught. He has natural ability that can't be taught.

Nick Toon seems to be a good mix to fit in the Lance Moore or Colston role in case of injury or subsitutions. Colston also is not getting any younger, so it is as good a bet as any to try to refine him for the future. I really hate the draft sometimes - you really cannot judge a player this early on until you see them in preseason after they start learning the system. Especially on offense.
