Are the Saints gonna address the RB issue?

So the Saints didn’t draft any RB’s, not super surprising. The problem as y’all know is that Kamara could possibly be suspended for a large portion of the season (if not for the whole season, knowing Goodell).
Are we gonna ride with a long in the tooth Mark Ingram and Tony Jones Jr.? Anybody in UDFA you think the Saints could try to pick up that could make an impact? Veteran FA’s we could bring in?

We'll probably get 1 or 2 udfa's.
Not sure what RB's are available in free agency, but we have plenty of money to spend.

If we can get a team friendly deal, I’m open to Melvin Gordon or Sony Michel.
Short of that though, the only RB draft prospect left who I think can play effectively this year is Sincere McCormick. Would love him as an UDFA

I actually think the Saints might have been considering Jerome Ford before the Browns snatched him up in the fifth. Detillier mentioned a while back that the Saints had brought him up in conversation.

It's not just about the suspension.
You need a true #2 back. You want kamara to be fresh for the playoffs.
James cook would've been who I went after but he went early 2nd.
Saints could've grabbed a back in the 5th round if they had more picks.

As many know we are good in selecting UDFA's and they seem to want to come here.
Josh Adams 6'2" 225 4yrs N.D.
Tony Jones 5'11" 223 2yrs N.D.
Dwayne Washington 6'1" 222 7 years Wash
Outside of MI and AK that is it.
2-4 UDFA RB's would seem about right :lol

Yeah I’d be very careful about spending a lot of capital to bring someone in because AK “might” get suspended for a month or two

I wonder if TJJ never got fully healthy after the injury last year. Maybe he's healthy and makes a jump this season

Hopefully they can get a guy after cut day. They need a little bit more position versatility in that room for sure

Morgan “Juice” Ellison from Indiana > JUCO > Southeastern has gotten a camp invite. He is an absolute specimen of an athlete. About 6’1 240 and can move. Injuries and off field concerns otherwise he would be a hotter commodity.
