Toliver has no idea how to turn his head around.... He will not be a good pro.. Also has bad hips and gets beat on the double move constantly...

Arden Key reminds me of Junior Gallette in many ways. No thanks.

So you Are fine with trading next years first to jump into the second round but have a problem taking him at the end of the first this year and getting the 5th year option.

Honestly I am speechless

The treatment of Arden Key has been extremely unfair. The guy tried to bulk but ended up having to get a significant shoulder surgery and made it back in 4 months. He sucked his first two games, but after that returned to his old form, go look at the Bama game. He then injured his knee against Arkansas and wasn't able to play the rest of the season.

He never quit on this team and that narrative needs to stop.

You suck dude. You know nothing about football in general so please keep your comments to yourself. Arden Key is excatley what we need
Your anger blinds you. At best, Key is a risky pick. 1st round picks need to be locks to start for several years.

Bust. Lazy and only cares about a payday. Once he gets his first check you'll never hear his name on the field again. You have to question those 6 months prior to his injury. I think he had intentions of sitting out last year but then got some bad advice to come back to the team. Likely thought they might question his character for not playing last year. He was out of shape then it just kinda had a snowball effect to all hell. He kept getting injured and didn't come anywhere near the talent you saw previous 2 years. I also don't think LSU was being honest on what the deal was with him. I wouldn't be surprised if they mentioned injuries just to cover his arse to try and salvage whatever stock they could in him. He looked like to me he had no business being on the field last season and just kinda gave up on his team during games. You could see it in his demeanor on the field. I think it was an excuse that his injury hurt his football shape. No, he just didn't work out much prior to his injury which is why he ballooned so much. Dude had nothing but $$$ signs in his eyes.

If he's really passionate then you have a stud pass rusher. He has an immense amount of talent I just highly question his drive to play for anything other than the big check. Seems like the typical sitting on his money type guy to me. Too many questions about his character to take a risk high. If he's there late like in the 3rd I'd risk it because he has boom potential.

He doesn’t have the coverage skills to play OLB.

Coverage skills by LB is one of the most overrated narratives on this board.

As far as not fitting, we have sub packages he can fit in on passing situations

How quickly this board forgets; does the name Stephone Anthony not ring a bell?

Hell Andrus Peat's first year or two for that matter.

There are no locks in the draft. Does no one remember that Reggie Bush (#2 overall pick) never got 600 rushing yards in a year in New Orleans?

When the frick has Key acted like a thug? All of you suggesting things that you have no idea about are dumb fricks. The kid got addicted to pain killers, went to treatment and after he had surgery and gained too much weight. Once he got his weight down he was back to his sophomore year type play, kid is an extremely hard worker and develops his craft, he’s immensely more talented than Chubb or even Garrett from last year. He’d be a steal at 27

I don’t think anyone can say he’s a thug. I’m not sure where that is coming from.

As a talent, he’s amazing. Actually stands up to the run well for a pass rushing DE, his coverage skills his sophomore year were actually pretty good and his speed off the end is great. Top 5 talent for sure!

The question is what’s going on in his head. Hiatus for a while, late surgery, is he or isn’t he coming back, comes back terribly out of shape then sits out the bowl game. There are questions for sure.

No one can say he is or isn’t a bust. He could be Warren Sapp or Randy Moss who fell because they had questions but that motivates them or he could be Justin Blackmon or Justin Gilbert who come in with questions and flop hard.

Perfectly said.
Some risk and and a ton of upside.
The team that drafts him should not be looking to fill holes or look for a impact guy from day one. The team should be fairly deep at all positions so that a 1st round bust doesn't break you.

Hmmmm what teams fit that bill

You want a 5th year option on a situational pass rusher?

That’s even more shocking to me

I kind of look at Arden differently, it was pretty irritating that he came back so overweight last season, but the guy also busted his arse to get back in shape and he did it pretty quickly.

I don’t know what that says about him loving the game and what not, but I have to imagine he doesn’t do that if he’s not motivated.

Key was hailed as going top five lets not forget.
Then something happened.

And there's the rub for 32 GM's.
