So you’re saying it’s gonna be a two-year tank?

They will 100% base his draft declaration on who has the top pick. There is already precedent and this is obvious.

I think Arch has the talent to be a HOF qb but, it is getting absolutely ridiculous the articles, threads, and attention he is getting right now. He has never been the starter at Texas. Let the kid play some college football before everyone starts tanking for him.

When your grandfather was a great QB and your uncles were HOF QBs (assuming Eli eventually gets in), you get the benefit of the doubt.

Why should he? Just becoming a starter this year and hasn’t played one game yet. Jesus.

Klubnik and Nuss are projected top 10 picks, they haven’t done shite to warrant that yet. It’s called projectibility

And Manning has played “one game yet”

What??

24’ Texas Bowl 300 yds 3 Tds

25’
4000 yds
29 tds
64% comp
142 rate

Terrible take Gyno.

…. to warrant being a top 10 pick. If he did enough to be a top 10 pick he wouldn’t be at LSU this year

He had a decent year, he’s being mocked in the top 10 bc he has pedigree and is expected to improve. This is how mocks that are a year out work.

You’re wrong. Nuss has done shite. Your statement was silly.

Horrible argument. Everyone with a pulse who has watched him speak about his faith and love for LSU knew he was always coming back.

He could have easily been a top 32 pick in April. So going off your “project ability”, yes… he is easily a top 10 pick as we speak right now.

You think Nuss was slated to go in the top 10 this past draft?!

25’ 4000 yds 29 tds 64% comp 142 rate

He led the conference in pass attempts, 77 more than the next guy. Of course of he threw for 4k and 29 TDs, threw 525 times. He was 11th in the conf in Y/A, the yardage isn’t impressive given the volume

6th in the conference in comp%
9th in Pass TD%
9th in rate

Yes. Tyler Shough was a top 40 pick in April

well that was my point. So what do you think you’re arguing?

Nuss had a good 2024. However his performance in 2024 alone does not equal a top 10 pick. He has good pedigree, has shown the ability to improve, will play around a good cast… it’s a projectible profile, thus his top 10 slot in all mocks.

I said top 32. Read slowly.

I gotcha loud and clear. You don’t think Nuss is a top QB in the NCAA or next years draft and cannot build off a 4000 yd 29 TD season

Bookmarked.

They've said from the beginning, before Arch even enrolled, that he was doing this, because that's what the Mannings do.
