Any word on if T Hill was a SP pet project or if DA loves him too at QB?

Curious if Hill will be battling for starting job or even #2 backup

Well, we sure as hell need a tight end so hopefully he is willing to play that role.

Pretty sure his injury will prevent him from even battling for the starting job in camp. I hope they see him as a general weapon and give up the QB thing.

Hopefully Pete sees him as the mismatch he is and puts him in position to succeed, rather then shoving him in as a QB

I don’t want to see Taysom throw another forward pass unless out of necessity because of injury.

Taysom Hill has thrown 8 touchdowns and 8 interceptions for his career stats. Explain how I’m hating.

Because Payton said he is the next Steve Young, and Payton is a quarterback guru, so why don't we want a future superbowl winning, HOF quarterback.

Jk, I'm with you, they've tried to force this quarterback thing way too long

I like Taysom as the jack of all trades role but I just can’t see him as a starting QB long term.

this year's stats are worthless. no weapons, no chemistry, no line, taysom was never healthy. you're also discounting his 13 rushing td's past 2 years.

But that’s his career stats! Not this season alone. I love Taysom as a runner just don’t see him realistically being a quality QB down the stretch. I think you are misunderstanding me not wanting him to be QB with not wanting him to play at all. I love seeing him succeed at what he is good at.

Their is a possibility that Hill would not be recovered from this injury until September or beyond. If he is very lucky and the damage is minimal he could make it back for training camp. I will try to find the link to an article discussing the injury but regardless with this type of injury their is a small risk of never fully recovering or being limited. BTW he had a less serious Lisfranc injury in his other foot in College and was able to recover in a few months. I have not heard any updates on him since he was injured.

Do you think DA will give Taysom the chance to succeed in the qb competition that as you said CSP did not?

Given Taysom's injury situation, they are nearly forced to look elsewhere first and deliver a starting qb for training camp.

Seems we need runners now not just throwers.
My gut says AK out 8 games and TH not ready to run hard for awhile either. Im gonna have to start looking at FA rb's not just qb's.

Taysom was absolutely balling out the last time we saw him

For a quarter and a half against a team with nothing to play for in week 18. Siemian came in and played well against them too.

Taysom had a pretty serious foot injury to end the year. With the wear and tear on his body and his playing style, I can’t see him lasting much longer

I don't care which one played better. I take nothing from either of their performances because it was against a disinterested bad team going through the motions.
