What are your expectations of next year?

DA still coach? More of the same.

To early to tell. Check back when the staff and roster start to take shape.

I think year three should be make or break...make DA hire a new OC and go from there. I lot of this team's problems stemmed from Carmichael's ineptitude.

Dennis Allen loses the locker room by week 5 (it's already on life support btw)
Loomis trades our first next year to move up from 14 in the draft to 12 in the draft to select a Left Guard from Western Kentucky who graded well but doesn't have the production to back it up.
We are so bad that that pick we traded becomes a top 5 pick.

Yeah I guess Sean winning division titles, making playoff appearances and winning a superbowl shouldn’t matter. Great comparison lol.
The fact you made this comparison diminishes everything you post. It’s ridiculous to even compare the two.

Don’t worry.
We’ll miss playoffs and it’ll be known by Halloween. So no stressin

How bad is this front office and staff that instead of this being an outlandish prediction, it instead seems not just plausible but maybe even likely to be right?

Do facts hurt your feelings? Please don't add this to your cry-all-over-the-board-247 list.

No just idiotic statements with no context like yours. Please don’t go crying with your optimitic rants about “why everyone is making eveything a big deal and why the whole board is melting” crying pussy rants like you do. Get off this board if you don’t like what a majority of this fan base is saying.

I honestly expect us to be worse.
We had one of the easiest schedules in the league, played in the absolute worst division in the league and we still miss playoffs.
The players don't respect the head coach and the head coach is a proven loser.
The only good thing that will come of next year is watching all the pro DA posters act surprised and get all pissed off when the Saints are (again) mediocre.

What were the other seasons?
I think I remember Hazlett winning a season's final game, only to watch in the locker room some other team, that needed to lose, win their game, officially ousting the Saints. I can't remember if that season involved the River City Relay or not.

Very low.
Team is hard to watch. Problem is they are sidled with Loomis, DA, Carmichael, and Carr for the foreseeable future. None of those can right this sinking ship. Problem is the W/L total doesn't truly reflect how shiddy they were this year.

What context is missing from this statement?

So did Jim Haslett- missing the playoffs by a game with a mediocre qb. So what exactly is the context behind what you’re saying? DA isn’t that bad because Sean Payton did the same thing? Context should be that Payton did a lot more in his career so comparing one season of Payton to one season of DA is an absolutely ridiculous comparison to make.

You could see the division with 2 new coaches, new QB in Atlanta (depends on the route they take drafting or trade), and Tampa with Baker. You will still have a shot to win the division (with possibly the same record or one game under) and will still need help and won't get it. Or miss out before week 17 or 18.
To be honest, Tampa could be better and if Atlanta figures it out with coaching and finds the right fit at QB then watch out. They have the pieces offensively to make a run at the division as a young team while the Saints are choosing to run it back with vets and refusing to get younger or making poor draft choices because the front office is clueless.

I think the atl goes all in for a top QB.
