Do we keep him into next year before going another way so the new HC has a #1 pick to build upon?

They'll keep him. I'm ready to start from scratch.

just like the lazy hire, he will be a lazy fire in that he will virtually fire himself by forcing them to remove him

unfortunately, i see him staying here another year, simply because no one is in charge to get rid of him, and staying means he will be taking us farther into a hole

He doesn't seem like the demanding type of coach which is something you need.

But then again, there is plenty we don't see when it comes to just how active he is around the facility on a day-to-day basis. So, there is a solid chance that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

It just appears that way to me as an outsider.

I don`t know why people thinks that DA was a lazy hire,if
you consider the circumstances it was common sense.
DA in my opinion has been disapointing in the fact that
his expertise was Defense and they suck. The fact we don`t
have a great QB room and the Offense is scoring enough
to win is a good sign.Unfortunatly the team lacks discipline
and makes to many stupid penalies ia all on DA.Lack of
accountability is a problem.

What coach in their right mind wants to come here and tackle these salary cap issues? They can't even afford to rebuild because we're $54mil over. This team won't be good for quite a few years.

I get what you're saying but there isn't a new head coach that can succeed here. He is stuck with players that are getting older and can't be traded due to their insane contracts, and inheriting salary cap hell. Also no first round pick at the moment. I think we'll go back to what it was like before Payton got hired. Which wasn't very good.

How does one says this and look at say N.E.?
Hired a frumpy failed 1st time head coach from cleveland and wasted a 7th round pic on a no name QB

I agree with you, but wtf are you using to format your posts like that? I can't help but read it like a weird poem. I checked and all of your posts are like this. Lol

They'll keep him. And he'll be just as bad. To be honest with you I doubt Loomis is even capable of finding the proper coach. We need a manager change in addition to coach. That Payton hire in 06 was a luck of the draw hire.

I guarantee you that the Saints will not have the same luck. I'm telling you this team is done being good for awhile.
