If we're smart, we'll keep them out next week as well. The Rams don't matter. We need to win the division.

lolwut? The Rams game is huge. We lose against them and we're likely at best the 3 seed regardless of what happens the rest of the year.

Damn. I know we’ve had some luck during this streak in terms of opposing quarterbacks, but we have been hit hard by injuries this year especially on defense.

Fairley, Breaux, Anzalone, Vaccaro, Okafor, Lattimore, Klein. 7 of our best 13 defenders at least, and they might all miss the Rams game. 4 of them are out for the year.

On an unrelated luck note, we’ve also had pretty bad fumble luck during the streak, especially in terms of how many fumbles we don’t recover both on offense and defense.

It would be very nice for the injury bug to leave us alone and the fumble luck to turn our way down the stretch

Not to mention Carolina is right behind us and we can't really afford ANY losses right now.

But if they aren't ready you can't rush them either, because as said a setback would almost tank our season. So we need to be smart with those three.

Eh, injuries have hit a lot of the top teams except maybe the Steelers.

Edelman for the Pats, Jason Peters for the Eags and Bradford/Cook for the Vikings. We have to weather the storm and find a way

Now he can Kneel and protest from the comfort of his own home.

That's an obnoxious comment that implies you're ok with him getting hurt because of his decision to protest.

Dude has fought his way through a slow start to his career to be an important player on a good team. He was likely going to get a contract that rewarded that effort. No matter your views on his kneeling, you have to feel for the guy. Hope he returns to full health and can contribute to the Saints.

Don't be surprised if we use Onyemata to stop the run at DE.

Looking toward next year, since Okafor is an UFA, do we resign him? Google has the recovery time for a torn achilles anywhere from 4 to 12 months.

Tough call but I would say with the injury that he will be a lot cheaper to re-sign. It would be worth the investment if he signs for cheap. I think he would play next season at some point

look at the Eagles and Vikings, sir. They're way more likely to win out the rest of their games than we are.

We will be the 3 seed at best, but only if we can beat Carolina to the division.

What is it about this board that breeds such irrationality. Half you tards were saying that we're a fluke team until 2 minutes left in the game on Sunday

If Lattimore, Klein, and Vacarro are not 100% by next weekend, they won't be playing. Period. Sean Payton and company know that having all 3 back and healthy for Carolina is way more important.

Says the guy assuming wins in the NFL

4 of the vikes last 6 are road games and PHI still has to go into SEA and LA plus two division games

Yea, and we have to play the Rams on the road, ATL on the road and home, and a hot arse Panthers team. Oh and those other two teams both have an advantage over us in terms of their record.

If we lose to the Rams, but then win out, We win the division.

If we beat the Rams, but Carolina then wins out, we lose the division.

IDK why this is so hard for this board to wrap it's head around that. Being healthy for Carolina is the most important thing we can do. beating the RAMS does not compare to beating Carolina. We can sit hurt people and lose to the RAMS next week, and still be just fine.
