They don’t have an in house player set to take over and there’s not much on the FA market. If I’m Loomis I’m calling to see what they give me for Cesar Ruiz. It would be a win-win. Ruiz is strictly a center and would be a better player there but he’s never getting that chance here with McCoy. If they offered a 2nd rounder for him I think I’d do it. We have guys who can step in on the roster now and start at RG without a drop off and we get a little if that draft capital we lost moving up this year.

Why do the falcons care? They aren’t trying to win next year.

I’m not trading within my division and I’m not giving up on a guy who hasn’t really realized his potential and has played without a true offseason since he got into the league (due to Covid).

He was a 49er, right?

Yeah. I don't understand the Falcons comments.

Also, while I get the desire to salvage some value for Ruiz at this point, Kyle Shannahan isn't going to trust his OL's leader to an unproven guy like that most likely. Alex Mack was a wizard in their zone scheme.

49ers were well aware of Mack’s pending retirement all off season. They asked him to hold off to post 6/1 to spread dead cap over two years.

They have a couple of guys ready. Daniel Brunskill has started two years at RG and is the likely starter at C.

The guy sucks. He was a wasted pick. Maybe we can get a 2nd round pick for him.

You retarded Madden GM wannabes are the worst.

For a 2nd when the guy you are referencing is Ruiz, I would.

Odds of Jameis Winston surviving one game if Calvin Throckmorton starts at RG again?

Mack played for the 49ers that lat 2-3 seasons, this has nothing to do with the Falcons people.

We’re not getting a 2 nd rounder for Ruiz. That’s just delusional

So you will get trade leverage with a team you contacted to get rid of player A.

Have you always been a fan of "sell yourself low"?
