He basically admitted guilt. Should have never come to this and he should have settled with the dude for whatever he wanted

Should be cut tomorrow or traded if anyone wants his baggage and can help lighten the salary cap hit up. Or better, just cut him on the spot and have a case you don't owe him anything for breaking his contract obligations.

100k is what the judge told him to pay. Restitution I think is what it's called (I'm no lawyer). They settled a separate civil suit outside of court confidentially.

Anyone with a brain knew Kamara was never going to go to jail when it was all said and done.

If their had been no video evidence then likely yes but the League is going to consider that video an embarrassment unfortunately even though that MF was baiting them.

Since it is misdemeanor assault, we should expect 6 games. The assault charge is what triggers the suspension not that it’s a misdemeanor

That’s not how the NFL operates. There’s literal video evidence of the crime. Plus AK basically admitted to it pleading no contest in exchange for a reduced charge. He’s getting a 4-6 game suspension, at least.

Yes, but there is also whatever it was that compelled the DA in Las Vegas to accept a plea to a minor misdemeanor. They didn't do that out of the goodness of their hearts. There is obviously something in the narrative that has not come out publicly that would make this case difficult to prove to a jury. There is a missing piece to this puzzle.
