We won't hear a peep from Airline Drive on their take with all this but Aikman has a point. We shall see.

Everytime there is a scandal in the NFL, Aikmen always brings up the 'ignorance' comments.

He is 100% right.

Those 5 words will end up defining RG's run as Commissioner.

Lol at the dumbasses commenting in the article, on what they THINK THEY KNOW.

Goddell did a masterful job of using NFL network and ESPN to advance his agenda. The only thing bounty gate was intended for was to use the Saints as an example regarding the concussion situation.
Goddell did just as the federal government does and produced thousands of pages of info knowing that no one would read all of that bullshite. None of the Saints actions in "Bounty gate" gave them an advantage! The same can not be said of the Patriots!

Well said

Troy has been all over the hypocrisy of the NFL concerning bountygate.

The proof is in the results.

How many offensive players were intentionally hurt before, during, and after bounty farce?

How many fumbles did the Pats have and what was Brady's stats before, during, and soon to be after deflate gate?

In the comments:

I think part of the punishment should be the Patriots have to use balls overinflated by 2 lbs for the Superbowl.

There is nothing masterful about Goodell. ESPN is a business partner in the NFL's multi-billion dollar enterprise and have a vested interest in toting the company line.

I love how so many comments are still throwing that "pay to injure" shite. Who did the saints purposely injure? Why were they one of the least penalized teams? Eat a dick you sheepish fricks.

I never understood how people thought it was so bad, it was never anything to cheat to win. Patriots have been busted twice now for cheating.

I hate how they hit Warner that play. BUT, it was legal and Warner is the first to say that and has on a few broadcasts.

It is amazing how many people ate up Goodell's Bountygate pull shite. It is one of the most overblown stories in sports in decades. It also didn't really warrant a punishment as it didn't actually result in anything other than hyping up players.
