Young, dynamic playmakers at QB are the wave of the future. Gone are the pocket passers. I’d rather suffer through a few poor seasons finding our guy than keep getting 1st round bounced and picking in the mid-20s.

No, Taysom Hill is not the future but someone is and the Saints need to find him. The $30 mil a year Brees will want can go toward more pressing needs.

I guess we are just going to overlook the fact that 8 of the last 10 super bowls have been won by pocket passers?

Also, I guess we're going to overlook the fact people had their doubts if Jimmy G was better than a game manager before last night. It's not like prime Peyton Manning lost.

shhhh ignoring facts fits his narrative - he isn't looking for reason, just the low end mouth breathers that will support his moronic viewpoint.

You're stupid, Brees shredded SF worse than Mahomes did last night

It'll happen when it happens... don't be in a hurry. Odds are we will suck for a while once it does

Typical overreaction zombie. The saints have been bounced in the first round once in their last 4 playoff appearances, so now its a trend?

So the difference in the outcome of those two games was QB play?

Saints scored 46 points
Brees was 29/40 for 349 yards with 5 TDs 0 Ints QBR 92.4 Rate 138.4

KC Scored 31
Mahomes 26/42 for 286 yards with 2 TDs 2 Ints QBR 61.6 Rate 78.

Brees staying or going is irrelevant at this point.

This team isn't winning a Superbowl anytime soon.

Our last chances were lost the last two years, courtesy of a dumbfrick rookie and a dumbfrick referee.

with respect. Mahomes was not dynamic last night. Lucky for the Chiefs he pulled it together in the 4th.
Last night was the old saying. Offenses win games. Defense wins -------------

One of the dumbest comments I’ve ever seen on this board. Just because the pocket passers arms are fading in the twilight of their careers doesn’t mean that still isn’t BY FAR the most successful and most consistent way to attack downfield.

A past his prime Drew Brees is still better than 90% of qbs. People are going to realize this once he leaves
