Think he'll advocate for the people in Philly, too?

He’s an LSU guy. I’m sorry. It’s a big, fat nooooooooo.

I don’t understand your thinking here? Was it supposed to be funny? I’m genuinely confused on what you were going for here.

Just an idiot trying to slight Jenkins when this thread has nothing to do with him….

I hope he actually put businesses in his community to really help out the people that come from those areas.

I love me some Honey Badger, and I know I'll get hundreds of downvotes for this, but I was not impressed with that speech. It was from the heart, but lacked substance.

Lighten up, Francis.
It's the same Sasquatch poster starting threads for every thought that pops up in his head.

I agree. He's just not very articulate. He seems genuine as hell though, glad to see him as mature as he is from where he has come, and the teams around him listen when he speaks so that's all that matters.
I hope we sign him!

You don't have to be articulate to be a good speaker and to get a point across. It was a great motivational speech. You could hear the emotion, and his love for LSU. You'd be hard pressed to find someone who was dismissed from a team who still bleeds the same colors, represents the school and also donates his hard earned money to that school

Maybe he and Landry can give us a hometown discount package.

#1 rule of speaking is know your audience, he is speaking to the football team, he doesn’t need to be articulate.

We usually don't do stuff that makes sense so little to no hope we sign him

I get what you're saying, I just find it hard to follow him. Like I said I love his passion and sincerity, you can see and hear it, but his speech just didn't do it for me.
To your point of not being articulate, I'll even take it step further. One of the best motivational speakers that got me fired up the most was fricking Michael Irvin, and I hate Michael Irvin. I cannot stand him as a commentator or "analyst", he's stupid, makes outlandish takes with no substance, struggles to put together a coherent sentence. But damnit I've listened to some of his speeches from football even to when he spoke at a UFC symposium years ago and he had enough fire when speaking his jumbled words I still felt like I could run through a wall! Must be all of his "cousins" cocaine that gets him hyped up lol
