Roger Goodell informed CSP that AB would be suspended for the rest of the year if the Saints signed him. He's still free to sign with another team and play

There’s still no reason to not sign him.
Force Goodell to suspend him and justify it. Which he can’t because he’s already had 4 months and there’s no criminal investigation.

Not a public outcry, no. But he still has to justify it to AB, the Saints, and the NFLPA.
There’s no crime. So it can only be conduct. Which carries a much smaller suspension- if they can even justify it.

All easily explainable:
He wants to play for us but either we aren't signing him or he was told he won't be able to play this year.
Sounds like he did disobey the no entourage request, but still balled on the practice field. Would come down to what CSP thought was more important at that point.
