And also sent their 1st and 5th to the Jets in the process. Wow. Jets won that deal big time. Gave up 2 first and one 2nd. It’s really 2 second round picks but it moves to a 1st if he plays 65% of the snaps.

That's a great trade for the Jets.

Jets get:
Aaron Rodgers, pick No. 15, a 2023 5th-rd pick (No. 170).

Packers get:
Pick No. 13, a 2023 2nd-rd pick (No. 42), a 6th-rd pick (No. 207), a conditional 2024 2nd-rd pick that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 percent of the plays.

Not a bad trade.

It’s a great win now move but not really a great down the road trade. The Jets have a good roster though they just needed a Qb and got one. He’s not the younger Rodgers but he’s still a top 5-10 at his position.

They basically moved down two spots and gave up a 2nd. There’s a chance they give up a first next year, I would have tried to put that percentage of snaps to 75% to get the first. Figured he’d go for two 2nds.

I also hear the Packets get nothing in 2024 if he retires after the year. Haven’t confirmed that info yet though.

it looks like they got, the equivalent of, 2 1st round picks for him. thats a pretty damn good deal for green bay for an aging QB passed his prime, with hard to deal with personality issues

no it isnt. rogers will be demanding a watson level contract so he wont even be a jet next year. they are just renting him for one season with that deal.

the next stop for him is minnesota for the 24 season

He's saying he's following the Brett Favre trajectory which if you look at it is kinda eerily similar in what they accomplished. He just didn't throw as many pics as Favre.

Actually, Favre didn't suck with Minnesota in his final season. He had a helluva season that year in leading the Vikings to the NFCCG against you know who. I actually think he would have won another superbowl ring that year because he had the Saints on the ropes with his play, he outplayed Brees in that game with Brees playing really scared in the biggest game of his life up to that point. But Greg Who and bounty gate battered poor Favre into retirement he took such a beating with bloody socks and all, then Tracy Porter finishing him off in OT with of course a Favre pic.

Tell me you're not a saints fan without telling me you're not a saints fan.

Nothing we did that game was against the rules at that time. Had nothing to do with bounty

That wasnt his final season. He played the next year with 11 TDs and 19 ints lol

Favre had 1 TD 2 picks and a fumble lost

Brees had 3 TDs

Stop smoking crack. Nothing in that diatribe is correct
