The refs and injuries played huge in this game.

With that said, Sean Payton has learned absolutely nothing about what makes this team successful. It’s not like we were behind all game and had to pass to catch up. Even after we got down field so fast with all our timeouts he refused to run the ball.

He needs to do better. Hen we lose games it’s usually because he’s pass happy.

No excuse to not be more balanced. The last running play before brees’ sneak was Ingram for 6 yards.

Not defending Sean but when you lose Kamara on the first drive the entire game plan goes to shite immediately

We definitely should have ran the ball more, but it's hard to run it efficiently like we have without Kamara.

And to that point, frick Deion Jones. Hope Kamara runs right through him the next time we play Atlanta.

Does that idiot realize that he almost gave us the ball back at the end after he got lit up? The refs and Deebo won them that game.

Ummm they weren't going to win this game running the ball. It's not that hard to figure out

Well when kamara is out and ingram isnt fully healthy it isnt really surprising. For a second there it looked like we'd have to roll out trey edmunds.

It's time for him to give up playcalling
He just doesn't have it anymore. The Falcons are horrible against the run. You have it on the 10 and don't run it once.

Payton is pathetic

So abandon the run completely? Ingram was running the ball well when he had chances

We’ll never know will we? But we know we lost with that pass/run ratio.

you realize we were down to 1 rb? You propose running him every down? Seems like a bold strategy

I hope we chop block the shite out of Jones.

He is no longer a LSU player, he is a Falcon. Just like Ingram is a Saint now and not a Crimson Tide

How about more than 3 fricking carries for Ingram in the 2nd half?

Ingram had 12 total rushes. One for kamara and one for ginn. Brees on the sneak. Ingram looked plenty healthy on the final interception when he snuck out wide open to the right but brees didn’t look at him. He was locked onto to josh fricking hill who almost always has something bad happen when he’s around the ball. So, Ingram could have run the ball if Sean Payton would have called a run.

Can anyone think of a worse called half in Payton's career?

Led or tied almost the entire game and we decided not to burn the clock and to throw it on the goaline.

Exactly Breesus. I know he wants to score a TD but the way he was calling plays was like we needed to get two scores. Run some time off the clock.
