Yeah I see that too. I'm just glad I don't have to make the decision. If I looked at it purely objectively, Thomas would be the one I would move on from. Although I'd have a hell of a time letting Thomas go after helping us win our first title.
I guess I just have to hope/figure that Payton will actually use Thomas this year.

What could we possibly get for Thomas chad? Or just release him?

I think it's more likely we trade Ivory for a 6th or 7th round pick.

Well yeah, we probably wouldn't get much for him although his contract is friendly. Maybe he restructures a lil bit. Or else there's release

Between Ivory Ingram or PT someone needs to go.

It's not like if we were to get lucky and get a second rd pick for Ivory we couldn't spend a 5 or 6 on a rb. Gain a second, spend a fifth, wining situation. There are still UDFAs, which is how we got Thomas...... and there are veterans that have a season left in them that could get on the cheap if one of our RBs were to miss time.

Really wish we could just find a way to keep him at the right price. I have a feeling we would regret letting him go pretty soon.

I don't see why we couldn't either. In 2011 Payton used all of them and balanced them out incredibly well. Send Cadet packing.

I have no problem with that. I hope he stays.

We aren't getting a 2nd round pick. He was tendered at that level so he doesn't leave for nothing.

Most likely we'll try to move him for a very late pick.

I hope you're wrong on that one. All Ivory has done since the first time he stepped foot on the field in a Saints uniform was give 100% effort and played with heart. We need a whole lot more like him.

If he's traded it's a late pick. Fact.

I think they probably move on from Pierre Thomas, because of his cap number and the fact that he's closing in on 30.

you aint kidding

we traded up for Ingram in the first round and he has only averaged just 10 carries a game in his first two years...

Better than no second pick at all.
