That's what the Teddy Checkdown offense has gotten us.

23 drives

12 punts

6 field goals

1 interception

1 turnover on downs

1 kneel out the half

A win vs Seattle on the road

We are just trying to get by at this point until Drew is back

Accept that as fact (it is) and you’ll enjoy the games much more

nope, only thing that matters is Wins and Losses. If we can somehow be winning the division when Drew comes back, watch out.

This is the dumbest and most shallow fricking analysis that I've come to love from you guys. Trent Dilfer is 1-0 in the Super Bowl. Someone should have backed the money truck up and signed him 'cuz he must be awesome, right?!?!

They are winning in spite of Bilgewater, not because of him.

We all know teddy isn’t Drew’s successor, we just need to win as many games until drew gets back

Just get a W even if it’s ugly

As long as we win man we knew it would be impossible to even come close to Brees’ production

The Vegas handicapper that is on WWL 870 weekly said the drop off from Brees to Bridgewater is negligible. He said the 3 points he took with the Saints was a “gift”. I tend to disagree. He may win with those three points, tho.

I mean we beat and are beating the two teams they had us slated to lose without Drew. We all wanna see better but man I'll take a 1 point win. Style don't matter this ain't college.

You are an idiot. Teddy isn’t and never was the long term answer. If he gets us to 4-4 going into the by week, we will dominate the final 8 games with Drew back. We will likely be 5-3 as is, maybe 6-2 if we hold on tonight. So yes all that matters right now is that he gets W’s

Anyone that thinks Sean Payton, of all coaches, is gonna run with Teddy long term is just looking for something to be angry over

Saying he 'won' in Seattle is wholly disingenuous. If the Saints end up losing tonight you can rest assured it will be because of a rudderless offense.

If the Saints win, it'll be because of D and special teams.

And yet, he's outplaying his opponent QB. One of the best in the league...
