Still got the ticket stub,we sat on the padded first row right on the end of the block. Loudest moment I’ve ever witnessed in an arena.

The irony that it was a special teams play that sent that game to the moon.
Special teams play has been such a big piece to the Saints history.
Morten Andersen was the opposing kicker that night.
The Saints scored on the opening kickoff in 1967 in their first game.
The Saints advanced to the Super Bowl on field goal.
The Saints recover an onside to start the second half in the Super Bowl.
Morten Andersen booted a FG to send the Saints to their first playoff appearance in 1990,
Edit: Hakim drops the ball and Brian Milne falls on the muffed punt by Hakim! There is a God after all

I was in Afghanistan and had ZERO clue the game was even happening. I made up for it by going to the Super Bowl. Man I missed so much shite being deployed.

Man I couldn't tell anything that was happening during that time period... I am sure I watched the game.. But my head was involved with the Katrina shite and work at that time...

I was in the corner endzone with my dad and uncle. I was on leave before PCS to Germany. Probably the best live sporting event I have ever been to, it was a great night.

I was at the game. It was an amazing day being in the city and then going to the game. It’s still one of the most memorable sporting events I’ve ever attended. So glad I was there to be a part of it
