Meli defense was getting pretty good there towards the end. Wasn’t it?

Yup. He was producing on both ends of the court and his minutes continued to rise.

Agreed but Kenrich is more similar to Zions game. Lots of Hustle and Rebounds.

This will help with the first team transition when Zion comes back

Pelicans' Zion Williamson suffered from leg cramping this week and missed parts of practice before leaving team Thursday to tend to urgent family matter.

I guess that is trying to hint that even when Zion returns to the team, he will still need to get back into game shape before he will be cleared to play by the training/coaching staff.

Basically, even if he returns a day or two before a game, he will still need more time before he can play in a game.

This is a weird report then. Why even mention this? I'm sure several players have been tended to across the league as they try to get back into playing shape.

it could be a week or more before hes back.

This is all horribly morbid, but the person could already be dead, and he might come back soon. Or they could be quickly recovering (e.g. someone got into a car accident that left them near death, which caused Zion to leave bubble, but there's successful surgery today and the person is out of danger tomorrow).

On the other hand, if a close family member were to die, I can easily see Zion missing the rest of the season.

We just have no way to guess at this point.

I guess we couldn’t wait for more information to be released before going full melt. As long as Zion health isn’t in jeopardy, I’m not losing sleep over this.
