Hell Steph repped the Warriors one year, so it’s not some big negative you’re trying to make it seem because Zion is repping us

Never said it was a negative, you interpreted it that way because you are looking for a gotcha for some reason. It's meaningless.

“Showed how valuable he could be when committed”

All he did was win enough games to take us from 2nd to 4th in ping pong balls

You guys act like he’s won multiple playoff series for us

He’s done absolutely nothing for this franchise

Referring specifically to the games after he returned. He helped his stock by being in shape, putting up great numbers and showed effort on both ends of the court. Obviously it's still a team game, and the team was a mess all season.

He took until year 6 to show a pulse after his injuries, effort, personal days, etc already derailed the season on the front end

Let’s use the pulse as an opportunity to trade him rather than act like it’s a signal that he’s all of a sudden some reliable superstar

Why do people not understand that a big reason why the team is a mess is because Zion is a mess?

That was the covid lottery so Steph was in his backyard, not being sent to freaking Secaucus to answer questions about whether his team will be back in the lottery next year.

A 2nd yr player. Not a guy that was supposed to be the jewel of a lottery 6 yrs ago and future face of the league.

You can catch an L also.

Since Steph isn’t enough for you, here’s some other guys of recent years who repped their teams at the lottery: Scottie Barnes, DeAaron Fox, Sabonis, Anthony Edwards, Halliburton, and Dame.

I’d say Zion fits alongside those guys. I actually agree with Broski that it’s meaningless.

personally I dont think this means anything in regard to him staying or not. maybe a showcase of how he looks to teams who are all at the combine.

Zion will double the input of Shaq and Barkley combined. NBA’s fat slob MVP for 6 years in a row.

Zion showed the org how valuable he can be when committed. When he came back from injury he was a beast. Most of the starters got shut down for the season, including Z, otherwise I think he would've played a lot more. His last injury was very minor and just an excuse to preserve the tank. There's reason to be cautiously optimistic.

God bless you guys.

We probably land the #2 pick and Dumars picks the one player out of the top 5 that doesn’t end up a HOF and is a complete bust.
