re: Zion (ankle sprain) out tonight at Washington

If he’s gonna miss a road game, at the Wizards is the game to miss. But this is ridiculous.

Because practice is less intense and much lower risk of aggravating the injury than a game. He's fine and could play, but it's smart to protect the ankle, and we should be able to beat Washington without him.

This is literally what almost all of us predicted in the game thread on Monday when we saw him twist the ankle.

Just so everyone knows, a minor ankle injury that you can play on is absolutely an injury you can take a game off for if you can, and most teams do.

If this was an important game he'd play.

It’s ridiculous because he has no credibility. Play 75 games. Do that and then you earn the right to rest a sore ankle.

We are fine without him for 2-3 games. The world isn’t ending better to make sure he’s fully healthy before he comes back.

I feel like we are all expecting the team to do what they always do when we get on a roll.
