I'd like another reason to be pissed.
True fricking NOLA fan, right there.
Really does distill down a chunk of this whole site perfectly

At times this place definitely feels more like a venue for masochistic punishment piggies to get their negative endorphins stewing than a place to read interesting opinions

You've come to the wrong place.

Zion almost made that last shot
He didn't. But, he managed to take a pretty quality shot given the circumstances.
Last night was humorously pathetic.

It was a joke. Go look at my posts after the game. I post more damage control after losses than I do blasting my anger towards players and coaches.

I know
I wasn’t judging your post that way, just found that one line to be an amusing and unintentionally perfect distillation of the pretty predictable cycle after wins and losses around here.
Not that you personally were a reflection of it. If anything you have been someone that has clowned on some of the hyperbole from what I’ve seen.

If you advance the ball to halfcourt, I am pretty sure that you cannot inbound the ball to the backcourt in the NBA.

Doesn't sound like this is the case.
quote:
Any ball out-of-bounds in a team’s frontcourt or at the midcourt line cannot be passed into the backcourt. On all backcourt and midcourt violations, the ball shall be awarded to the opposing team at the midcourt line, and must be passed into the frontcourt.
EXCEPTION: During the last two minutes of the fourth period and the last two minutes of any overtime period, the ball may be passed anywhere (frontcourt or backcourt) on the court. However, if the ball is thrown into the frontcourt and an offensive player on the court fails to control the ball and causes it to go into the backcourt, his team may not be the first to touch the ball.

really a problem when fans basically know ref crews by heart because they have traceable biases and ways they will call games and certain teams.
rookies vs stars too
morant got knocked around twice in last seconds vs Denver. once by their star center.
no call. 1 pt loss to Denver.
I know the refs play favorites and pick on guys.
baseball too.
I long for computer systems calling balls and strikes.

This is wholly on the Saints pre-Payton. Those were brutal years, but it’s prepared me for being a pelicans fan quite well.

I want my hope to be reasonable.
the lack of defense is most disappointing.
stan was supposed to bring it.
i was in love with Jrue and he turned into picks in future.
picks might be good but MGMT just passed on my choice saddiq Bey who had 25 and 10 for Detroit last night while kira is not starting or even a high end 6 or 7th man getting 20 minutes so I dont really have hope and until a month ago I was still Pollyanna imagining Pels taking out a high seed in round one.
now I'm with the tankers hoping for a top 4 lottery result. but while I love mobley I doubt pels would take him and I love Kispert and I doubt pels take him if consensus says other guys are top 5 and kispert is just 7 or 8th best.
so I have no hope. none.
bummer.

What a bizarre rule, to make it dependent on the time left in the game. Thanks for pointing this out!
