Greek is everything we hoped AD to be—-an MVP level alpha that dominates, plays hard every night and WANTS to be the man on HIS team. They would laugh us out the room.

Considering AD doesn’t want to be here, I would do this in a heartbeat.

I find the Giannis wing conversation curious still to this day. Would someone call Jokic a wing for instance? He's essentially a "point-center". The game has evolved to this point of positionless basketball more and more, so it seems kind of fruitless to argue about traditional positions on the court.

I was certainly feeling really froggy during that Portland series. I was a bit of an a-hole. Though the pendulum has certainly swung the other way this season on Giannis vs. AD, I don't think it's set in stone either way on who will have the more productive career. There are still some very glaring areas in Giannis' game, and it will be interesting to see if he's able to overcome them in the postseason or develop them over time. I do find it funny that people consistently shite on Ben Simmons for having no jumper, yet give Giannis a pass. Granted, Giannis is worlds ahead of Simmons in the other areas of the game that don't involve passing court vision, but it's still amusing to me seeing emotion clouding people's judgment and evaluation of players.

People hate AD, but this conversation is far from over. AD has a much more rounded game on the court than Giannis with far fewer glaring flaws. It will be very interesting to see just how good AD can be on a team where he's not asked to be the leader.

I also find the "leader" conversation quite fascinating as it pertains to the Pels building a roster around AD. Was this stint in New Orleans doomed from jump street unless the Pelicans were able to magically land another top 10 talent that could supplant Davis as the de-facto leader of this team? They actually managed the miracle once and got fricked by bad luck.

I can certainly see a scenario where AD goes to another team, is the #2 even if he's more productive and putting up bigger numbers, and able to have some success in the postseason.

If only the T’wolves lost more games the year we had their pick and we were able to get AD and Lillard. He was the alpha we needed.

shite, if we'd even landed Drummond who went 1 pick before us, we could have avoided the whole Asik/Ajinca fiasco altogether and been looking at one of the best defensive units in the league with AD/Drummond/Jrue.

Well yeah. But there’s a pretty wide distance from 6-10 while 9-10 is about as “fuuuuuck us” as you can get.
