I think the message is clear. Paul and the Lakers do not see NY as a threat at this moment. Everything being released through the media points to their camp being concerned with Boston and only Boston. This has been consistent throughout the entire ordeal. It’s getting clear that the Pelicans and Boston are on the same page on the assets required to make the deal.

It's February 4th. It's not true. If anything happens it will be on deadline day simply because you have multiple teams bidding.
