I haven't been checking in... Do we need a Bunchie melt thread? I know he dug his heals in on an LAL package

Holy frick we get seven years of the best two picks between us and the lakers, plus BI? Plus whatever we can get for ball and 4?

Why move the pick? I’d rather take our chances with a rookie on a cheap deal than make some shitty 2013 esque push to “compete”. I think people will be surprised with how effective this roster will be next spring

I think if they can trade for a player they really like on a good contract, they'll move the #4 pick. But it has to be the perfect scenario. I don't see them trading down just to trade down. If they can't land a player they want in a trade, they'll most likely pick @4. That's how I see it.

That perfect scenario almost never happens. I think smart move is avoiding what we did in 2013.

or turn it into an extra 1st round pick or 2 or 3
kinda like the anti-Dell... who I think had a personal vendetta against draft picks

Only way I see that happening if it's for next year's pick. Can't see them going into the season with 3 1st round rookies. We already have a young core and young supporting cast.

I guess I should've specified... and extra 2 or 3 future 1st round picks

Nah he's fine with it

I got easily see them trading pick #4 to someone like Atlanta for picks 8, 10 & 17. Only if we got all three would it be worth it to me.

They would probably have to take Hills contract too.

There's no way they draft 4 first rounders in this draft

This draft is way more talented and has more good potential than most admit. If it were me and I had those 3 ATL picks I'm rolling the dice on guys like: Clarke, Reddish, Bol Bol, or one of the foreign guys. There are options

So basically the Pelicans got a bunch of first round picks for Davis because all 3 of those players suck. The Lakers can keep them!
