Yes... the 3 shots Trey has taken so far tonight would've made a difference if he started.

Trey has taken 3 shots in 14 minutes. He's not fixing anything. The problem is the offense is everyone work to get BI or CJ a shot. BI has 2 assists and 3 turnovers, CJ 3 assists with 2 turnovers. Those stars creating shots for others is when this team was at its best.

GOP in the game thread put it a lot better than I did.
I wouldn't go so far as to absolve Willie from blame. He's letting this happen. There used to be a lot more off ball movement on both sides of the ball than there has been lately.
And I've never claimed to be an expert. I'm here to learn as much as anybody. Don't just tell me I'm wrong. tell me why I'm wrong. That's how we all get better.

Ingram has just reverted to slow, iso play. The team doesn't run the offense that we ran at the beginning of the year. The problem isn't Willie's offense -- it's that BI and CJ aren't running it.

Why does my threads keep getting banned? Serious question? I just made a thread about Willie Green

Willie is very disappointing in year 2 after such a nice end to his first year and awesome start to the season. The team has just collapsed after Zion went out with very similar results game to game. It is on coaching at some point. Team looks lost with such terrible turnovers and no real game plan offensively without the "give it to Zion and things work out" strategy.

Gentry was by far worse but. Willie doesn’t seem to have it all figured out yet

I really want to see more of the Richardson and Trey lineup with CJ/BI. We saw a little bit of it and I thought the spacing was good.

Fair but Gentry is a very low bar to be above...

Gentry had 12 years to figure it out before coaching here.
Then he had 5 years and made the playoffs ONCE.
Then he had a duo of fox + haliburton and went 21-41
He sucks.
Willie is in year 2 with a rotation of injury guys, there are a lot of areas he needs to work on as a coach. There's also areas he's pretty good at, give it time. By year 4-5 if we're not contending and people are healthy --- it's time.

what ever happened to the point-five basketball?
From day one, Green emphasized ball movement and quick decision-making. He called it “point-five basketball.”
“What that means is just shoot the ball, pass the ball or drive it (within half a second of getting the ball),” Green said.

Other than being considered a "player's coach" what do you believe he's pretty good at?

Coach shows a lot of promise as a motivator that is different than being a player’s coach. He leans into effort and bbiq, particularly on the defensive end, but doesn’t adjust easily to the effort/ability equation.
