Hey guys,
As of 10pm yesterday, Lakers and pelicans have agreed on majority of the trade. What I was told is that Lakers have official told pelicans what they are putting on the table, and the pelicans have agreed to it
The problem has been the third team, during the initial stages it was between Chicago and Phoenix. However both teams have fallen off, two new emerging team have came out, the wizards and the hawks.
There is a high sense of optimism that the trade will get done.

I wouldn't want anything the Lakers got

Hawks is likely just picks, right?

That idiot clearly doesn’t understand how a 3 team trade works. Pretty sure he thinks the third team is just there to be a witness.

First, if this were true:
There would have been no need for the Rich Paul anti-Boston campaign we saw today.
Secondly, Griffin has already leaked the framework, All Star, Potential All Star, Picks. If they've agreed to anything at this point it's which Lakers player Griffin views as a future All Star and shouldn't be traded to a 3rd team.

The SI article has probably been scheduled for release for a while now. The interview was back in March.

There’s a guy in Reddit with connections to Lakers front office who is saying framework of deal is done. Just waiting on 3rd team.
This doesn't make the slightest bit of sense.

My understanding was that the Lakers and we agreed to Lakers assets that they were willing to part with for AD, and which to send us and which to flip.
That’s the only thing that would make sense that I could come up with.

Right but Griffin has made it clear that the piece he gets back from a 3rd team is essential to the deal.
If they don't even have that then nothing is "agreed to" or official.
Its hilarious.

His claim to fame is basically calling out a meeting between KD and LBJ. He might be a waiter at that restaurant they were in for all we know. I’m still skeptical.

Is that it? That's fricking hilarious.
Apparently he was also 100% convinced that Kawhi to Lakers last offseason was a done deal.
Yeah, good source.

He apparently proved to the mods of the Lakers subreddit he was at least semi legit.
I was looking through some of his posts and one of his predictions was that Zubac was going to get engaged. Apparently it happened the following week.

Supposedly he also predicted Hayward to the Celtics but so did everyone else. The guy could be right but he’s not credible

Maybe he's around the team in some capacity but I'd be willing to bet he sure as shite is not privy to trade talks.

Either way this news will pressure the Celtics to be more aggressive esive if they are interested in AD.

so he's a friend or relative of Zubac. Why the hell would anyone outside of a strong inner circle of Zubac know that?

it's probably drew brees' jeweler.

You talking about the guy who said Phoenix and Chicago backed out
Now it's either the Hawks or Wizards? He seems to be a bullshitting bullshitter

Yes.
And he waited until the Lakers vegas betting odds fell down all the way to -500 making them a ridiculously heavy betting favorite to post it.
